Sir, you insist to include a link to a site promoting just a personal theory. This is against the rule of it.wikipedia. I don't care of what happen in wiki from other languages, but our policies as Wikipedia:Niente ricerche originali are quite clear. Please don't reply me that you dont understand enough the italian, because in such case you should explain why you insist to write/contribute which is foreign to you and demonstrate to not be a vandal.--Bramfab Discorriamo 16:49, 25 giu 2008 (CEST)

  • With all respect Sign. Bramfab, but this reference was there a longer time till very recently by interwiki stalking from mr. Baas and Waggel did happen, with this reverse consequences you are attended to. Meanwhile I am complaining about that injust harassment on my personal edits to the en: Wikipedia as just I informed you. Could you please withdraw that template Sir.? Always thanks in advance and best regards, Sincerely: D.A. Borgdorff 86.83.155.44 (msg) 17:58, 25 giu 2008 (CEST) Post scriptum: on several Wiki's I started with this De Broglie Material Waves articles first in Holland. 86.83.155.44 (msg) 18:09, 25 giu 2008 (CEST) = dAb = D.A. Borgdorff.
The fact that the reference was sitting there for some time do not change that it is no appropriate. You already included that link 3 times: 4 Mar, 28 Apr & 25 April!!! The warning is a reminder for you and a flag for my colleagues to act in case you persist on this direction. I also notice that for the same reason your pages in other wikis are holding blocks and warning advise too.--Bramfab Discorriamo 18:23, 25 giu 2008 (CEST)
I am surely not and 'never' insisting, ... though your noticed remarks are all contested there, because of misinformation ... unfortunately. I 'll mostly comply with requests as I am doing here as well. Usually truly yours: dAb by 86.83.155.44 (msg) 18:39, 25 giu 2008 (CEST)
Thanks for your collaboration. Regards --Bramfab Discorriamo 18:42, 25 giu 2008 (CEST)

This is beginning to be silly Modifega

OK, there are (were) a couple of links here at the top. I saw this morning user:MoiraMoira editing en:user talk:86.83.155.44 for the same reasons, where this user was moving things around on the talkpage, no information deleted, but user:MoiraMoira finds it necessery to revert that.

He has hardly edited in mainspace, is mainly working on his talkpage, the links are to images, not to commercial sites, and this is his talkpage, I am not sure here, but a user can do with his talkpage whatever he wants.

Then, without reason (and more important, without proper warning), a block? I am sorry people, this user gets stalked around by a couple of users, and I fail to see why they insist in refactoring his talkpage. Comment on contributions, please, and I would suggest to unblock this account. --Beetstra (msg) 19:10, 11 ago 2008 (CEST)

External links could be subject to the same policy than in main namespace, with also one additional consideration. While at the end of an article it may be a useful complement, on a talk is generally less reasonable, especially if a suspicion of self-promotion is seen. This IP address has been blocked for the third time (by three different sysops), for the same reason, so your suggestion cannot be accepted. Thank you. --M/ 23:16, 12 ago 2008 (CEST)
There is not a trace of self-promotion in these links. This user is being harassed; rather than to block him, the harassing party should be dealt with. Regards, Guido den Broeder (msg) 00:49, 13 ago 2008 (CEST)
M7, the editor was blocked for only editing his own talkpage (since his previous block expired). There are no other edits. I indeed agree that if the links are promotional, then indeed you are right, but these links were to images, archives!! I am very active in fighting spam xwiki, and I have seen many forms, but this certainly is not spam. The name that is used by this account is not named on any of these directly. I am sorry M7, but this block is absurd, especially if it is for one year!! --Beetstra (msg) 12:22, 13 ago 2008 (CEST)
Rules about namespace usage are quite simple on this italian language edition, and the user talk page is not supposed to contain personal information, especially for a non-registered user. Anyway, I've left a message for user Brownout, who has recently looked after this matter. Thank you. --M/ 13:19, 13 ago 2008 (CEST)
Indeed, and how is a couple of links to a couple of images of a tram and links to some archives 'personal information', and especially the type of personal information that warrants a block? --Beetstra (msg) 13:37, 13 ago 2008 (CEST)
And the block is for 'Ripetuto inserimento di voci e/o modifiche promozionali: Xwiki, also' .. Not for 'personal information' .. --Beetstra (msg) 13:38, 13 ago 2008 (CEST)
And third .. You are linking to Aiuto:Pagina_utente, that is about the user page .. not about the talkpage. Can you also tell me if it is a guideline or a policy? I don't see that on the page. --Beetstra (msg) 13:46, 13 ago 2008 (CEST)
What the user refuses to comprehend is that this is not his personal page, but the talk associated with his IP address, it's supposed to be used to aid the communication with other users, not as a scratchpad. He was asked to refrain from this kind of behaviour on many projects, he promised, no... he solemnly swore and then continued as before.
What I find silly is the assumption of good faith beyond any evidence you are applying on enwiki. This user has repeatedly demonstrated that his only interest in Wikipedia is self-promotion and pushing his personal theories about quantum mechanics; you have decided to keep an eye on him on enwiki, here (and obviously in the other 10 projects where he got long term blocks) we have better things to do, we are here to defend the encyclopedia after all, not his right to manipulate it. --Brownout(msg) 15:30, 13 ago 2008 (CEST)
I think that I also show on en wiki that a) he is harrassed in an unusual and inappropriate way by a small set of users (some here involved as well), and b) that I do block and warn him in probably the hardest way I have ever used on any user. Seen this, this, this and this, I found some accusations to this talkpage by other users questionable. Of the other contributions there are indeed quite some which are inappropriate, but this does not have to do anything with (self-)promotion. But I'll respect your rules here. Thanks. --Beetstra (msg) 16:03, 13 ago 2008 (CEST)
Brownout, if you find that a user doesn't comprehend something, explain it to him, don't block. On most language versions of Wikipedia it is allowed to create some kind of header on one's talk page, whereas a fixed banner as on your talk page tends to be appreciated far less. Why do you feel the need to defend it:Wikipedia against a link on a talk page? Guido den Broeder (msg) 21:34, 13 ago 2008 (CEST)
