This page to witness a surreal one-day experience I have had at the Lombard wikipedia.
I had opened a one day throw-away account to help a friend (user:belinzona) to upload some pages written by him (I am an experienced wikimedia user, accustomed to edit anonymously; in this case I had been recommended to open an account, due to the fact that I was told the Lombard community does not like anonymous users; so did I). I have experienced any kind of trolling and harrassment, and needless to say, no kind of welcome. Once I left a notice that my job was over (both on user page and discussion page), this edit has been reverted on my talk page, contradicting Right to vanish. Also, an admin trolled me, (not kindly) asking I wrote "cumün" instead of "municipalitaa" when this is EXACTLY what I had done. This proves that this admin DID NOT read even one of the pages I uploaded and attacked me for the fun of it. As an overall comment, even if I am not interested in taking part in the life of wikipedia community, I felt the obligation of issuing a witness statement: this seems to be the appropriate place. Also, it looks like that those people make everything they can to get new users away. This of course is not true about my friend "Belinzona". Thanks. Goodbye, --Swiss51 23:25, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
To check what happened
And if they insist
I will ask someone here to delete the page lmo:user:Swiss51. For the moment, please do not. Thanks --Swiss51 23:25, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
I have asked user:M7's help - thanks --Swiss51 22:36, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
